Earlier this week, we co-hosted a roundtable to discuss the different approaches to the architecture of Digital Money, in collaboration with CFTE Middle East.
Led by Gautam Jain and Huy NGUYEN TRIEU, co-founder of CFTE – Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship, we had a healthy debate around everything from CBDCs, stablecoins and tokenized deposits, to security and engendering trust. Some of the key questions that emerged were around whether digital money will drive the evolution of world trade or vice versa, and whether disruption and adoption will happen from the top down or bottom up.
A big thank you to our participants for their insightful perspectives and contributions that is helping to drive progress in this transformative landscape.
📢 We’ll be consolidating the insights from our roundtable into a report 📄 – stay tuned!
